Wakaflex is a lead-free flashing made from Polyisobutylene (PIB), featuring a unique ability to chemically bond on overlaps. This creates a continuous waterproof seal ideal for joins and step flashings, making it suitable for abutments, chimneys, walls, and other rising structures. Internally reinforced with aluminium mesh, Wakaflex maintains rigidity and memory when applied to surfaces. It includes two butyl adhesive strips along the edges and a protective backing, allowing for a smooth finish on any roofing material. Compliant with AS/NZS standards for damp proof courses and drinking water contact, Wakaflex is designed for both residential and commercial use.
