Wakaflex is a lead-free flashing made from Polyisobutylene (PIB), featuring a unique ability to chemically bond to itself when overlapped, creating a continuous waterproof seal. It is suitable for use on abutments, chimneys, walls, and other rising structures. The internal aluminium mesh provides added rigidity, while the two butyl adhesive strips along the edges ensure a secure attachment. With a three-dimensional stretch capability, Wakaflex can adapt to various roofing materials, providing a seamless finish. It complies with AS/NZS 2904:1995 and AS/NZS 4020:2005 standards for damp proof courses and contact with drinking water.
