Its solid centre design enhances rigidity, and the single-spur cutting edge ensures a smooth finish by scribing the hole's circumference. The coarse screw point facilitates quick penetration into both hard and soft woods, making it suitable for kiln dried timber, hardwood, softwood, MDF, and particle boards. However, it is not suitable for green sap and woods.
