Sikaflex®-291 is a versatile adhesive sealant tailored for marine construction, providing elastic and vibration-resistant joint seals. It adheres effectively to various substrates, including wood, metals, and ceramics, making it suitable for both marine and interior sealing tasks. This product meets the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) standards and offers good ageing and weathering resistance. It is important to note that Sikaflex®-291 should not be used on plastics susceptible to stress cracking. Once cured, it can be sanded as needed. This sealant is intended for professional use, and compatibility testing with actual materials is recommended.
