For optimal results, it is recommended to use this product in conjunction with Super Shock to restore clarity in very green or muddy pools. Prior to application, ensure that the pool is brushed thoroughly, and a vacuum to waste is performed after use. Note that this product is ineffective if algae are still present; super-chlorination and appropriate adjustments to pH and total alkalinity are necessary for best results.
