The Holman Poly Air Release Inline Valve is an essential component for drip irrigation systems, ensuring efficient operation by allowing air to vent during startup and preventing air pockets. This valve features a 1/2 inch BSP male thread inlet, facilitating easy installation into a 19mm x 1/2" BSP female iron tee. Its primary functions are to release air from the drip line when the system is activated and to permit air entry when the system is off, thus preventing a vacuum that could draw debris into the drip line, a condition known as "suck back." Proper installation at the highest point in the system is crucial for optimal performance, and it is recommended to install one valve for every 40Lpm of water flow. This valve is not suitable for low-pressure applications, requiring a minimum operating pressure of 7 meters (70kPa).
