This Kitchen Timber Oil is easy to use and ideal for treating timber surfaces in kitchens. It penetrates deeply to enhance the natural beauty of the wood while providing protection. Preparation is crucial; ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from contaminants. Sand the timber to a smooth finish, and if previously coated, ensure it is stripped back to bare timber. For application, stir the oil gently and apply a liberal coat using a brush, roller, or cloth. Allow it to soak for 45 to 60 minutes before wiping off excess. A second coat can be applied after 24 hours of drying. Ensure surfaces are dry before contact with food, as the product contains tree nut oil. Maintenance is simple, requiring cleaning with Feast Watson Floor Clean and occasional reapplication to rejuvenate the surface.
